My name is Andrea Bailey. I’m 22 and my knuckle tattoos were the 16th piece I’ve acquired.
I Got my knuckle tattoos in Portland Oregon at a shop call SeaTramp.
I didn’t know as I was walking in that I was going to get them. But I was there with a friend and told him I’d buy him a tattoo if he got his before mine so I had time to think about it. He agreed. 40 mins later the time arrived for me to make a decision. I said “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth..”The guy said “what?”
I said “it’s in the Bible..you know?”So he pulled out the Bible and we found the scripture.
I then knew I wanted the symbols (eyes, teeth) when necessary.
He decided to use the same font from the Bible for the lettering. Some people ask why it’s backwards or hard to get at first.. My usual response is “revenge is something I don’t understand.”
Funny story about my knucks: I was going through a custody proceeding and the judge didn’t really like me. I could just read it in her face and comments. Her argument was that my knuckles/the scripture were affiliations with an Asian Gang. “Bahahhaha!” <— My response! I’m neither Asian or intimidation enough to be in an Asian Gang. (I did end up losing the case anyhow..? couldn’t tell ya why.. haha)

MOMMA D
Here are Momma D’s knuckles:
hola…i’m rhandi-jayne dollinger, aka Momma D. pretty much every kid i know calls me that and so when i wanted to roast up my knucks, that’s what stuck. wanting to stick with a four across, we stacked the m’s in Momma as to get the whole word on. i dig girlie skulls and thought that would balance both hands out so Dave, owner of Tattoos at the Red Room hooked me right up. i think it came out right purty, don’t you?
HOPEFULL (HOPE FATE)
Miss Hope sends us these knuckles and a story:
Hi World! My name is Hope and these are my knuckle tats. I was cursed with these bad boys at age 16, when I sobered up the next morning sometyhing in my gut told me knew I was pretty much fucked as far as the corporate job world was concearned. They were originally a stick and poke tattoo ( the most primitive of tattoos : Needle, Thread, Indian Ink) and I thought in my little 16 year old brain it would be awesome to get Hope Full on them….I later found out hopeful has one L not two xDWhen I turned 18 I went into the shop and got the second word changed to Fate , the T looks like an upside down cross (the only way to cover that damn L) again I screwed myself once again; I have even more mormons at my front door.
VALE TUDO
Younes H. is a bad ass. If you see these coming, duck out.
I got this tattoo because im a mixed martial artist, and in brazil, a place where the sport is really famous, they have vale tudo fights where their are no rules, let’s just you gotta be tough as hell to step into a cage of a vale tudo fight, so it amazes me, plus the words are really sexy :P the tattoo hurt only on the smallest finger of each hand, the rest i didnt even feel them because i usually punch with them so i barely have any feelings in them left :P anyways all i have to say is be fearless…vale tudo!

For my parents all things that I love is of demon, like rock, tattoos, among others. I don’t belive in demon or god, but I decided tattoo, as a form of revolt, the name of the beast on my fingers, a prominent place. They never tried forced me to go to church again, now they are ashamed of my tattoo, and don’t want what the priest see it .
