Hello,

I am a tattoo artist at Last Chance Tattoo in Las Vegas. I recently did some lower knuckles on one of my husbands co-workers who just got out of a relationship. She got Love Kills with a little broken heart instead of the o in Love. She also has Man’s Ruin on her top knuckles which her first husband Sean did. I was always afraid of getting a tattoo until the first one on my back, and have got 8 since (including my knuckles). I’m always doing stupid things, forgetting the littlest of things, and saying even GOOFIER things. So, when I was 17 I thought, “I should get GOOFBALL, just to be a dumbass”. I waited until my 22nd birthday in January 2011 and just… did it! Every time I see someone that knows me well enough, they say, “What do your knucks say?” and I show them and they ALWAYS say, “That’s so you” or “Only you”. So I think it’s pretty damn fitting :)

Well these tattoo’s where done the day after being released from jail which the “Lost Soul” is how I felt during the time i spent without any freedom what so ever. As for the “F.U.” that is pretty much for shit I just wanna deal with anymore. My way of releasing my anger in statement so to speak.

I´m Bitel, from Spain. I send you the photo of my knuckles. It´s “TODO” and “NADA”, what means “ALL” and “NOTHING” in english.
And it is because of that I think you don´t have to be afraid of what the others think about you, no matter if they say you are an extremist or something like that.

I ran into Miguel at Target tonight, as I contemplated purchasing a PS3 for myself for the holiday season. Miguel’s story was that he was “Done with the game” and the knuckles were his dedication to that idea.

MORE CAKE

I met Lance at an annual backyard, underground, bare knuckle, Texas Chili Cooking contest. He works at the Swan Dive bar, here in Austin. His story was that he was at a party one time where a girl was sterilizing tattoo needles and asked if anyone wanted a free tattoo. He thought about it for a half hour and got his knuckle tattoos done.

In case you were wondering, I took 2nd in the chili contest.
