James V. sends in these meat hooks:
I got this because I like to travel a lot, i think it;s the only thing that really broadens the mind and builds character. Nothing better than having stories to tell. Never felt at home anywhere but the road.
Two sets of four letters. Solid.
Alicia sends in this new twist on the double up:
Hi, this is my boyfriend and his mate. On a show holiday, they were bored, had few and were keen to get some ink for something to do. They were keen to get their knuckles tattooed so they tried to think of something. My man came up with “wham bamm” on one set of knuckles and “thku mamm” on the other, so that’s what they got. My man now has a full marvel sleeve so the “wham bamm” on his knuckles really suit his sleeve to the whole comic theme. And the funny thing is, our mate has a sleeve of pin up chicks and he has “thku mamm”.
Chris S. sends us this set and story:
‘look back and laugh’ is a song by minor threat about friendship. to me its also a way of saying no regrets, when I look back on my life I’ll be able to laugh.
Squirrel of the ever-excellent Cycling Tattoo Gallery just sent use these beauties. Keep up the good work brother! His story:
Yo my brutha, finally got around to getting my knuckles done. Ride Free is the phrase I choose for my love of bicycles. There is nowhere our 2 wheeled steeds can’t take us. Whether it be though someone’s yard, down some fast single track, many miles of pavement or just down memory lane to our childhood. “Ride Free” mates!
These knuckles come all the way from Denmark from Johni S:
Story Behind:
Well i really wanted to tattoo my knuckles since i already have lots of stuff done, it only felt natural to make this step.
I wondered what to get and fell over this quote:Stay Gold; Not conforming to what society dictates, but in a sense marching to the beat of your own drum.
Which fits perfectly to me, and how i live my life.

My name name is Aedan Wolton, I’m from the UK. I got this tattoo March 2009 at Vibes Tattoo, Amsterdam, NL.
I was originally going for ‘Hold Fast’ but our trip was pretty messy and I was soon persuaded otherwise by the boys. I’m glad I was! It’s always a conversation starter and never fails to make people laugh. There are no finer things in the world than Love & Cake (apart from Sex & Chocolate, but I don’t have enough fingers).
My Name is Vash and I live in Portland, Oregon. When I turned 35, I realized that I am settled into my career (Kitchen Manager/Head Cook) and comfortable with my place (both philosophically and geographically) in the world. Since tattoos don’t negatively affect my earning potential, I decided it was time to cross both the northern (Neck) and southern (below the wrists) “Carney Lines”. So in February of 2010 I strolled into Anatomy Tattoo (my regular shop) here in Portland to have Adam Jelinski (my regular artist) put the only thing I’ve ever been able to envision putting on my knuckles: GOOD LUCK
I chose good luck for a few reasons:
1) It’s a positive statement and a well wish.
2) It can also be read sarcastically as a bit of a threat, which is fun.
3) I’ve almost NEVER seen those words on someones knuckles.HARD LUCK just doesn’t suit me, but as a second generation Irish American, GOOD LUCK sure has.
